La Maddalena & Caprera Island Sound Libraries is a collection of field recordings from my first dedicated sound journey, capturing the rich and varied soundscapes of these two stunning Mediterranean islands. Over three days, I explored the shores, the small yet enchanting forests, and the hidden remnants of history on Caprera. Venturing into the old battle fortifications, I recorded the atmospheric sounds within tunnels and abandoned rooms, where echoes and whispers of the past still linger. From the gentle rhythms of the sea to the mysterious acoustics of forgotten spaces, this album invites you to experience the essence of La Maddalena and Caprera through sound.
